Médoc Discovery Day Tour
Revel in the world famous Médoc wine region where we visit small and large Chateaux, including 1855 Classified growths.
The Napoleon Tour offers the chance to see some of the most prestigious Chateaux of the Bordeaux wine region.
We wind North through the Médoc Wine Route des Chateaux, visiting our long-time wine making friends along the way and tasting the best wines that the Médoc region has to offer.
Enjoy a tasty typical French picnic lunch –summer tours only– in the Château’s property, taste delicious wine and learn all about the famous region of France where Cabernet Sauvignon originated.

HALF DAY
WINTER : Wednesday, Friday, Saturday SUMMER: Wednesday, Friday, Saturday, Sunday
Depart from our office in Bordeaux center and travel to the Médoc region on a quick 1 hour journey in our comfortable minivans.
Tour a Chateau, learn about their production methods and taste the fruits of their labour. +/-1hr
Indulge in more wine tastings at our favorite wine merchant ‘cave’ cellar.
Ride back in our minivans for a Drop-off at Rustic Vines agency in Bordeaux Center.
FULL DAY
SUMMER Monday, Thursday, Saturday
Depart from our office in Bordeaux center and ride along the famous Route des Châteaux on a quick 1 hour journey in our comfortable minivans.
Tour a Chateau, learn about their production methods and taste the fruits of their labour. +/-1hr
Enjoy a nice picnic lunch with fresh & local products prepared by ourselves and set up at the Château.
Tour a 2nd Chateau, learn about their production methods and taste the fruits of their labour. +/-1hr
Indulge in more wine tastings at our favorite wine merchant ‘cave’ cellar & stop at Château Margaux for a souvenir photo.
Ride back in our minivans for a Drop-off at our agency in Bordeaux center around 5:30 pm.
*Please note that the itinerary may slightly change from one day to another, but the departure time, return time (+/- 15 minutes) and what’s included in the tour will always be the same.

OUR CANCELLATION POLICY
For further safety, you can take insurance when booking for €5 per person where we will provide refund under the below conditions. Failure to notify us by email or phone will result in zero refund. If you cancel more than 7 days out from the tour: 100% refund If you cancel within 7 days of the scheduled tour: 0% refund if you haven't purchased the cancellation insurance. 50% refund if you purchased the cancellation insurance and notified us less than 24 hours before the departure time. 100% refund if you purchased the cancellation insurance and notified us more than 24 hours before the departure time. RUSTIC VINES reserves the right to cancel if the minimum number of guests (2) is not reached. *updated 06/10/19 - if you bought the cancellation insurance before the update, the previous policy applies.
