E-Bike in the vineyards
Benefit from a small group accompanied with one of our expert English speaking guides. Ride through 4 different wine appellations, in comfort, even uphill!
Along the ride are many stunning viewpoints, so don’t forget your camera and create lasting memories of your experience. We run the electric bike tours from April to October.
FULL DAY TOUR
Start from Bordeaux at our agency and enjoy a ride to St Emilion or meet us directly in St Emilion*.
Visit several different Chateaux and tour the medieval village which is UNESCO-listed, while we enjoy many wine tastings and a French picnic lunch.
*If you select the departure from St Emilion at 9:15 or 10:15 am : no transportation from Bordeaux is included.

FULL DAY
SUMMER - 8:30 am Everyday
Depart from our office in Bordeaux center and travel to St-Émilion, on a quick 45-minute journey in our comfortable minivans. *Only if you select the departure from Bordeaux at 8:30. For the departure from Saint Emilion at 9:15 am we’ll meet you directly there, no transportation included.
Set off on ride through the ‘back paths’ in the vineyards before arriving at your first Chateau.
Spend an hour learning about the wine making process and history before tasting different wines and vintages.
Ride off the 1st Château with some more cycling, and stop at the best views & landmarks along the way to another prestigious Chateaux tour & wine tasting.
Indulge in another Chateau tour & wine tastings.
Relax & enjoy a French picnic lunch including a wide variety of breads, cheeses, cold meats, wine & more in a wonderful setting.
Ride back to St-Emilion village, park the bikes, and refresh before discovering the Medieval village, from the cloisters to the famous view, and treat your palate to even more tastings at a wine merchant.
Ride back in our minivans for a drop-off at our agency in Bordeaux Center

IMPORTANT REQUIREMENTS BEFORE BOOKING
Your must be at least 155 cm (5.02 feet) tall and be a confident cyclist to book this tour. We decline all responsibility in the event you cannot do the tour because you don't fill those requirements. No refund request will be accepted.
DUE TO THE CURRENT PANDEMIC, OUR CURRENT CANCELLATION POLICY SHALL CEASE TO BE VALID.
We’ll issue a Voucher to postpone your tour with no limit date.

OUR CANCELLATION POLICY
For further safety, you can take insurance when booking for €5 per person where we will provide refund under the below conditions. Failure to notify us by email or phone will result in zero refund. If you cancel more than 7 days out from the tour: 100% refund If you cancel within 7 days of the scheduled tour: 0% refund if you haven't purchased the cancellation insurance. 50% refund if you purchased the cancellation insurance and notified us less than 24 hours before the departure time. 100% refund if you purchased the cancellation insurance and notified us more than 24 hours before the departure time. RUSTIC VINES reserves the right to cancel if the minimum number of guests (2) is not reached. *updated 06/10/19 - if you bought the cancellation insurance before the update, the previous policy applies.
